I started playing bass in 1975 after playing guitar for awhile. I stopped playing in 1987 when I worked in the restaurant business but started going to jams in 1995. Around 2005 Cal Batchelor saw me at the Yale jam and asked me to try out for his band. We did about 15 shows around BC and Emonton, and then a 17 show tour around Europe, including openning for Joe Cocker in Hamar Norway!!!! I did one more Euro tour with Cal spring 2006 and then a small 5 show tour with James Roger mostly in Holland. I met Exu and the Barons at the jam at the Yale about a year ago, we got up on stage together did 3 tunes and were asked to do the next tuesday night recording session. I play in a few other bands right now, ranging from traditional blues with Brent Lawrence and more mainstream blues rock with The Daily Blues and rock/new wave/punk with a band called The Penetrators (the one originally from Edmonton).
