I have loved music since I was a little kid,
I took drum lessons when I was nine years old, but later gave it up for guitar and singing. I started my first band in high school called 'The Exits' then went on to join the Calgary band 'The Breeders' (not the Kim & Kim Deal, the orginal Breeders). Many line changes later, the band became the Buddy System. I relocated to Vancouver in 1984, played some solo gigs (guitar & vocals including some of my own material) and started the band 'Area 51' which changed it's name to 'The Area'. One of our songs, +The Other" made it to number 4 on the CITR charts. I jammed with various musicians throughout my career, picked up the drums again (had a great teacher, Baron Rick, who also use to drum for Les Barons), joined Les Barons in Jan 2005 and the rest is old history.
